The Plot: A Spooky yet Hilarious Ride
- Protagonists: Malcolm (a self-styled internet prankster and amateur filmmaker) and Kelsey (his practical but long-suffering girlfriend). Malcolm is obsessed with viral videos; Kelsey wants stability.
- They buy/are gifted an old Victorian house at a bargain from an eccentric realtor. Malcolm sees it as prime content for his channel; Kelsey sees a fresh start.
- Strange, comedic oddities from the start: flickering lights that always interrupt Malcolm’s takes, a Roomba that won’t stop dancing, a refrigerator that dispenses mismatched leftovers, and a portrait whose eyes follow the couple — usually at embarrassing moments.
