Select hatch object
Properties palette → Pattern Scale → 2 (double size)
Hatch Angle → 45 (slant the whole chevron field)
- Save that content as CHEVRON.pat in a folder AutoCAD searches for hatch patterns (or add folder to Support File Search Path).
- In AutoCAD: HATCH → Pattern: Custom → select CHEVRON → set Scale and Angle as needed.
- Click inside a closed boundary to apply. Adjust scale to change chevron size and angle to rotate pattern.
Because chevron patterns aren't standard in the basic AutoCAD installation, most users download them from trusted CAD libraries or third-party creators: Save that content as CHEVRON
