• Solution: Examine the portrait of the family. Click the eyes of the youngest daughter. A drawer opens in the grandfather clock, revealing a broken piano hammer. Use the hammer on the piano’s missing key #4. The sound played is a sequence (E-G-B). Play that sequence on the piano to unlock the staircase to the basement.
