Removing the Optical Drive (DVD-RW):

1. Locate the single screw holding the optical drive in place (near the drive edge, visible after removing the service door).
2. Remove that screw.
3. Insert a small screwdriver or paperclip into the emergency eject hole on the drive’s front faceplate – or simply slide the drive out using the edge.
4. Pull the optical drive straight out of the chassis.
