Rating: 4.5/5 stars
- Amitabh Bachchan brings gravitas and restraint as the moral center; Nana Patekar provides fiery intensity, giving their scenes strong dramatic charge.
- Supporting cast and cameos add regional star power; the film blends large-scale action set pieces with melodramatic beats typical of mainstream Hindi cinema of its era.
- Music supports the film’s mood with a mix of patriotic and emotional tracks rather than chart-topping pop numbers.
Origin: Director Mehul Kumar originally announced a project titled Aey Watan Tere Liye featuring a different cast (Dimple Kapadia, Arshad Warsi, Karisma Kapoor). After the failure of his previous film Mrityudaata, he reworked the script into Kohram to include the Bachchan-Patekar pairing. kohram hindi movie
