Title: The Fix

Directed by Prosit Roy and produced by its star, Anushka Sharma, Pari follows Arnab (Parambrata Chatterjee), a reserved man who discovers a wild, chained woman named Rukhsana in a remote hut after her mother is accidentally killed. Moved by pity, Arnab brings her into his home, unaware that she is a "Pari"—a supernatural being born from a demonic cult called Auladh-e-Ifrit. The film's narrative is anchored by two conflicting forces:

The story follows Arnab (Parambrata Chatterjee), a mild-mannered man who finds a disheveled and traumatized woman named Rukhsana (Anushka Sharma) chained in a hut in the woods. Out of guilt and pity, he takes her in, only to realize she isn't quite human. The film explores an ancient, dark cult called and the cycle of blood and violence Rukhsana is born into. Why It Stands Out Atmospheric Horror:

Anushka Sharma’s Transformation: Breaking away from her "girl next door" image, Sharma’s portrayal of Rukhsana is visceral, animalistic, and deeply sympathetic.
