Pixel 6 Edl Mode May 2026

For a Google Pixel 6, EDL (Emergency Download Mode) is generally not a good feature

The Tensor generation changes everything. pixel 6 edl mode

• Pixel 6 (obviously)
• Spudger & suction cup (to open back glass)
• Tweezers (fine tip)
• USB-C to USB-A cable
• Windows PC (Linux/Mac support for EDL is poor)
• QPST or EDL Tool (from GitHub)

• Disconnect battery flex
• Short FORCE_USB test point to GND while connecting USB
• Device powers up into EDL with no display
