8. Elite Four & Champion Strategy

E4 Lineup (fixed order):

Gym 4: Ramos (Coumarine City) – Level Cap: 42

• Type: Grass
• The Nightmare Team: Jumpluff (Sunny Day/Solar Beam), Tangrowth (Regenerator/Leech Seed), Abomasnow (Snow Warning/Blizzard), Cradily (Storm Drain/Curse), Rotom-Mow (Leaf Storm/Thunderbolt), Mega Venusaur (Thick Fat/Sludge Bomb).
• Strategy: Bug and Fire are the obvious answers. Charizard (if you chose Charmander from the professor) with Air Slash destroys him. Volcarona (Larvesta on Route 13) is a late-game god. Be careful of Abomasnow’s hail ruining your Focus Sash.
• Reward: TM53 (Energy Ball) and TM22 (Solar Beam).
