Step 3: Flash the Custom ROM
- In OrangeFox, go to Wipe → Format Data (type "yes").
- Go to Advanced → Wipe Dalvik, Cache, System, Vendor.
- Connect to PC (MTP is built into OrangeFox). Copy your downloaded ROM.zip (e.g.,
PixelExperience_RMX3581.zip).
- Tap Install → Select the zip → Swipe to flash.
- If the ROM requires GApps (Google Apps), flash them immediately after the ROM without rebooting.
- Note: On older Realme UI versions, you might need an internet connection to verify. Some budget models require the "Depth Test" APK (a separate app often used for Realme devices) if the setting doesn't prompt verification directly.

Once verified, the bootloader is unlocked. The phone will reboot and wipe all data.
