3.6 Safety Integrated (SI) Configuration

STARTER V5.4 fully supports SINAMICS Safety Integrated functions (STO, SS1, SLS, SOS, etc.). The safety configuration is handled via a separate wizard and requires a password-protected acceptance test. Note: STARTER V5.4 supports Safety Integrated up to version 2.0 (firmware 4.7). Newer safety functions (Firmware 5.x) require TIA Portal Startdrive.
