Using Proton (Steam’s compatibility tool)
- Add the installer
.exeas a non-Steam game. - Force Proton Experimental or Proton 9.0.
- Run once to install, then change the target to
Terraria.exe.
- Check your GOG account's Backups & installers area for older backups.
- If you previously downloaded 1.4.4.9, use that offline backup.
- If you cannot find an official 1.4.4.9 installer in your account, GOG support is the official channel to request older installers.
