Season 1 of The Adventures of Puss in Boots (2015–2016) reboots the feline hero from DreamWorks’ Shrek franchise and the 2011 film Puss in Boots. After losing his magic beans and facing a crisis of conscience, Piss—sorry, Puss—accidentally stumbles upon San Lorenzo, a magical, hidden town protected from the outside world by a massive spell. When he inadvertently cracks that spell, Puss decides to masquerade as the town’s legendary “Guardian” (which may or may not have been a fake title he invented).
