Plot

Released in 1995, To Wong Foo was a revolutionary moment for Hollywood. Seeing three of the era’s biggest "tough guys"—Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo—don wigs and high heels was a bold move that brought drag culture to the suburban masses.

The film follows three drag queens - Chi-Chi (John Turturro), O'Grady (Christopher Walken), and Little Me (David Arquette) - who embark on a road trip from New York City to Los Angeles. Along the way, they encounter various eccentric characters, including a group of thugs and a sympathetic mechanic.

If you haven't seen it yet, here is why this film remains a fan favorite: To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar - Netflix

Recommendation: If you enjoy action-comedies, campy humor, or are simply looking for a fun and entertaining movie experience, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar is a must-watch. Just be sure to grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the ride!

The Problem: Where is the Movie Streaming?

Unlike Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (which is often readily available on Netflix or Prime), To Wong Foo has bounced between services. As of this writing, it is often not included with major subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Peacock) in many regions. It may be available for rent/purchase on Amazon, Apple TV, or YouTube, but because it’s a "catalog title" (older film), some users assume it’s "abandoned" and thus torrentable. This is a false assumption. The film is owned by Universal Pictures and is very much under copyright.
