1. File size: The genuine release is exactly 28.4 GB (installed). The base Codex 1.1.0 is 24.1 GB. The extra 4.3 GB contains the DLC F assets.
2. Launch screen: On the main menu, look at the bottom right. Instead of the standard version number (e.g., v1.1.0 build 12345), the DLC F Exclusive build shows v1.1.0f.
3. Unique character check: Start a new campaign as any faction. Open the character pool (court). Search for “Feng Lixia.” If she appears as a recruitable unique general on turn 10, you have the genuine exclusive.
4. The Northern Tribes flag: Faction selection screen will show a greyed-out shield north of Gongsun Zan’s territory. Hovering over it says “Xianbei – Requires DLC F.”
