Up-param.bin Exclusive

The file up_param.bin is a binary configuration file primarily found in Samsung Android devices. It is stored in a dedicated partition (often named up_param) and contains critical boot-related assets and parameters, such as the boot logo and warning screens displayed when a bootloader is unlocked.

This wasn't a driver. It was a configuration file for the tether’s counterweight. But why was it hidden in a subfolder of a defunct weather satellite? up-param.bin

  • Down (down-param.bin) : Projects the input from a high dimension to a low "rank" (bottleneck).
  • Up (up-param.bin) : Projects the squeezed data back up to the original output dimension.
