1. Preparation

    1. Identify your sensor and flash size.
    2. Build or download u-boot, kernel, rootfs from OpenIPC.
    3. Flash via U-Boot over TFTP or serial: 
      tftp 0x80000000 openipc-kernel.bin
tftp 0x80A00000 openipc-rootfs.squashfs
erase nand or spi
write
    4. Reboot – you now have Linux with RTSP, SSH, and Web UI.

    4. Reverse Engineering the Stock Firmware

    4.1 Obtaining Firmware

    • Extract via dd from SPI flash (requires serial console or soldering)
    • Download official update .bin files (often XOR-obfuscated)
