Zclever Security Camera Manual: Setup, Operation, & Troubleshooting

Model Applicability: This manual applies to typical Zclever HD 1080p/2K Pan-Tilt or Fixed Bullet Cameras. Note: As Zclever may be a re-branded OEM product, the specific app name may vary (e.g., "V380," "Camhipro," "YCC365 Plus," or "Smart Life").

  1. Scan the QR code provided or search “CloudEdge” on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Install the app and open it.
  3. Tap “Sign Up” – use your email address or phone number.
  4. Verify your account with the code sent via email/SMS.
  5. Log in and grant all permissions (camera, microphone, notifications, and local network access).
  1. Connect the camera to your network using the Ethernet cable.
  2. Configure your network settings:
    1. Locate the Reset button (pinhole on the bottom or back of the camera).
    2. Ensure the camera is powered ON.
    3. Use a paperclip to press and hold the button for 10-15 seconds.
    4. Release when the LED flashes red rapidly and you hear "Resetting to factory defaults... Restarting."
    5. Wait 2 minutes. The camera will now behave as if fresh out of the box. You must re-add it to your account. Note: This will not delete videos stored on your SD card, but you will need to format the card again to write new footage.

Whether you have purchased a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) dome camera, a fixed bullet camera, or a small indoor unit, Zclever devices are designed to provide affordable, high-definition surveillance.     Firmware and security

    • Check for firmware updates in the app and apply updates promptly.
    • Change default admin password during setup.
    • Use a strong, unique password for the account and camera.
    • Disable UPnP if not needed and limit remote access via secure methods (cloud auth or VPN).
